We understand and appreciate your commitment to improve the health care by involving the search for the new treatments for some difficult disease.  As a token of our appreciation, we would like to provide some of the following services to faciliate your commitment with our studies:

1. FREE TRANSPORTATION:

If you have need a ride to and from our clinic, please call us (858) 487-3742  or email us info@gatewayresearchcenter.com.  We will arrange someone to pick up up and take you home.

2.  APPRECIATING GIFT CARDS:

We will try to compensate for your time and effort for each visit with a gift card ranging from $50-$150, depending the study and avaiable fundings.

3.  FREE MEDICATIONS AND TESTINGS:

All drugs and testing related to the study will be provided to you Free of Charge.  If you take medications for other disease, you may have to continue on those medications, and we may or may not provide them.  Please continue to see your medical doctor if you have other medical issue.

4. FREE 24-HOUR ACCESS TO DOCTOR:

If you are actively enrolled in a study with us, you can be seen by one of our doctor anytime of the day, 7 days a week.  Please call our office number (858) 487-3742.  In case of emergency, please do not call us, please call 911 or go to a nearby emergency room.

4.  MAINTAIN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR OWN MEDICAL DOCTOR:

Although we will help manage your general health as a well, we will communicate and coordiate your overal care with your own medical doctors.

5.  HELP OTHERS:

The biggest benefit would be the sense of helping other patients with the disease like yours.  Imagine that you are a part of the development of a new medication or treatment for some difficult disease like diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease.
